Mankovsky Gallery has teamed up with Munich-based lifestyle retailer and their label Beastin for a limited-edition print run of two exclusive artworks from the label’s unique premium sportswear imagery. Dubbed ‘First Light’ and ‘Last Legs’ the photo series explores the topic of desirability across various stages of wear and tear on a shoe. Deeply rooted in both basketball and the accompanying sneaker culture, BEASTIN has worked with long-time friend of the family Filip Gorski. A former basketball player himself, the autodidact photo- and videographer has captured some of the most sought-after silhouettes within the culture, each in its own unique setting.
